Somewhere on the beach a "Treasure Chest" is buried. It contains items of great value to your organization. Each team is given a cross word puzzle, a set of cryptic clues, map, a shovel and a compass that will help lead them to the "Treasure".

The team must solve the crossword to reveal the answer as to where to dig. The crossword answers may require team members finding locations, people's names and some local history to solve the puzzle.

The team that can locate the treasure first will lay claim to the contents of the chest.
